The article, “WellNow Urgent Care Data Breach Settlement Agreed to Resolve Class Action Lawsuit,” published on May 26, 2025, details the significant outcome of this class action lawsuit following a 2023 cyberattack that compromised the protected health information of approximately 597,000 individuals. The settlement provides compensation for lost time, out-of-pocket expenses, and in some cases, pro rata cash payments for those whose Social Security numbers were compromised.
