The Almeida Law Group LLC is a nationally recognized class action litigation boutique dedicated to protecting people in an increasingly data-driven world. We represent individuals, families, and small businesses harmed by corporate misconduct, with a particular focus on safeguarding consumer privacy, security, and digital autonomy. Our attorneys are experienced class action practitioners who litigate cutting-edge matters involving consumer protection, false labeling, unfair and deceptive practices, and emerging data privacy and technology issues. Our work includes cases arising from data breaches, unlawful tracking technologies, misuse of personal information, and violations of state and federal privacy statutes.  

We are seeking a talented and proactive litigation associate with 2–4 years of experience for our data privacy team—preferably from a leading law firm, government agency or public interest organization—to join our collaborative, mission-driven team. This role offers meaningful responsibility and hands-on experience in complex, high-stakes and precedent-setting class action litigation. You will collaborate closely with experienced litigators in a supportive environment that values mentorship, initiative, and purpose-focused advocacy. 

• Draft pleadings, motions and briefs in state and federal courts 

• Develop innovative legal theories to support class certification and liability 

• Conduct discovery, including depositions and expert coordination 

• Assist with class action settlement negotiations and claims administration 

• Contribute to trial and appellate briefing  

• First and second chair court hearings and arbitrations 

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership 

• 2–3 years of complex civil litigation experience 

• Strong legal research, writing and analytical skills 

• Collaborative mindset with the initiative to take ownership of matters 

• Demonstrated interest in data privacy, consumer protection, or technology-related litigation preferred
