Elena Belov Appointed to Executive Committee in Cerner/Oracle Data Breach

On July 21, 2025, Chief Judge Beth Phillips appointed leadership counsel in the Cerner/Oracle Data Breach Litigation (Case No. 25-cv-00259), including Elena Belov to the Plaintiffs’ Executive Committee, marking a key step in coordinating efforts to protect affected individuals.
On July 21, 2025, the Honorable Beth Phillips, Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the Western District of Missouri, issued an order appointing leadership in the consolidated litigation titled In Re: Cerner/Oracle Data Breach Litigation, Case No. 25-cv-00259-CV-W-BP.
Almeida Law Group is honored to announce that Elena Belov has been appointed to the Plaintiffs’ Executive Committee in this important litigation. The Court also appointed Norman E. Siegel of Stueve Siegel Hanson, Thomas E. Loeser of Cotchett Pitre & McCarthy LLP, Lynn A. Toops of CohenMalad, LLP, and Tyler W. Hudson of Wagstaff & Cartmell, LLP as Co-Lead Interim Class Counsel. These appointments reflect the Court’s confidence in the leadership team’s ability to effectively coordinate pretrial proceedings and advocate on behalf of the putative class.
This litigation arises from allegations concerning a data breach involving Cerner Corporation (Oracle Health) servers, and the leadership team has been tasked with managing discovery, coordinating settlement discussions and ensuring efficient and effective prosecution of the claims. The Executive Committee, under the direction of Co-Lead Interim Class Counsel, will play a critical role in advancing the litigation and protecting the interests of affected individuals.
