Elena Belov Appointed Interim Co-Lead Counsel in Medical Express Ambulance Service Data Breach Class Action
Overview
On June 13, 2025, the Honorable Michael T. Mullen of the Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois, Chancery Division, granted Plaintiffs’ Motion to Appoint Interim Co-Lead Class Counsel in the consolidated litigation titled Dixon v. Medical Express Ambulance Service, Case No. 2025CH04441.
Almeida Law Group is proud to announce that Elena A. Belov has been appointed as Interim Co-Lead Class Counsel, alongside Ben Barnow of Barnow and Associates, P.C., Nickolas J. Hagman of Cafferty Clobes Meriwether & Sprengel LLP, and Cassandra Miller of Strauss Borrelli PLLC. This leadership team will oversee all aspects of the litigation, including pleadings, discovery, settlement negotiations, trial proceedings and appeals.
The consolidated cases involve allegations against Medical Express Ambulance Service, Inc. d/b/a MedEx Ambulance, and reflect a unified effort to protect the rights of individuals affected by the alleged misconduct. The Court’s order outlines a clear framework for coordination and efficiency, with a deadline for filing the consolidated complaint set for July 28, 2025.
