What Happened?
Lifespark Management Services, LLC was listed in an HHS Office for Civil Rights breach portal report submitted on July 24th, 2026. The incident was classified as a Hacking/IT Incident affecting the company’s email environment, with 6,611 individuals affected. No business associate was involved.
According to a notice posted to Lifespark’s website and reporting by ClassAction.org and Wolf Haldenstein, the company discovered suspicious activity within its email environment on February 18th, 2026. Lifespark engaged third-party computer forensic specialists to investigate and determined that certain information had been accessed without authorization for a limited period of time. The HHS report was submitted approximately five months after the breach was discovered. The exposed data varied by individual but reportedly included names, dates of birth, driver’s licenses and state IDs, Social Security numbers, passport numbers, financial account information, payment card information, health insurance information, and medical information such as treatment and diagnosis details, disability information, medical record numbers, provider information, and prescription information. No ransomware group or specific threat actor has been identified in connection with this incident.
Multiple law firms have announced investigations on behalf of affected individuals, including Wolf Haldenstein Adler Freeman & Herz LLP and Shamis & Gentile P.A. ClassAction.org attorneys are also looking into whether a class action lawsuit can be filed. No filed class action complaint has been confirmed in available sources as of late July 2026.
