About Arena Americas

Arena Americas is a full-service special event rental company founded in 1964, headquartered in Oak Creek, Wisconsin. It is the North American division of the UK-based Arena Group and specializes in providing event rental equipment such as tents, clearspan structures, tables, chairs, and linens. The company services major events including the Super Bowl, the Kentucky Derby, the New York Marathon, and PGA Championships, and operates multiple locations across the United States with approximately 500 to 1,000 employees. Because the company employs a large workforce and maintains standard employment and business records, it holds sensitive personal and financial information about individuals that can cause serious harm if exposed.

What Happened?

Arena Americas was listed in a Texas Attorney General data security breach report (record BR-0005290). The breach occurred on March 31st, 2026 through April 1st, 2026 and was not discovered until July 28th, 2026—a gap of nearly four months. A total of 1,899 individuals were affected. Arena Americas notified consumers by U.S. Mail, and the report was published by the Texas Attorney General on September 1st, 2026.

The data exposed in the breach includes names, Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, financial information such as account numbers and credit or debit card numbers, and health insurance information. No independent media coverage, ransomware attribution, or threat actor reporting has been identified in connection with this incident. The attack vector has not been publicly disclosed.

Key Facts at a Glance

What Should You Do?

If you received a notification letter from Arena Americas, act promptly to protect yourself. Enroll in any identity theft protection services offered, and place a fraud alert or credit freeze with the three major credit bureaus—Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion—to help prevent new accounts from being opened in your name. Monitor your bank and credit card statements closely for unauthorized transactions, and review your free credit reports at AnnualCreditReport.com. Because health insurance information was involved, also review your Explanation of Benefits statements from your insurer and check your medical records for services you did not receive. If you discover signs of identity theft or fraud, report them at IdentityTheft.gov.
