About Integrative Emergency Services, LLC

Integrative Emergency Services, LLC (IES) is a physician-founded, physician-owned, and physician-led emergency medicine group headquartered in Dallas, Texas. The company partners with hospitals and physician groups to deliver emergency medicine, hospital medicine, observation medicine, urgent care, trauma and acute surgery, telemedicine, and EMS outreach services. Because IES is classified as a Business Associate under HIPAA — meaning it provides services on behalf of hospitals and health systems rather than treating patients directly — any compromise of its systems may affect patient information held on behalf of those covered entities.

What Happened?

Integrative Emergency Services, LLC was listed in an HHS Office for Civil Rights breach portal report submitted on August 14th, 2026. The incident was classified as a Hacking/IT Incident involving email systems, and it affected 2,009 individuals. A cybersecurity news aggregator, BeyondMachines.net, characterized the incident as a data breach via unauthorized email access. No specific data types exposed during the breach have been publicly disclosed.

No ransomware group or specific threat actor has been identified in connection with this incident. No breach notification letter from IES has surfaced in state attorney general databases. Strauss Borrelli PLLC announced in approximately late August 2026 that it is investigating the breach, though no class action lawsuit has been filed as of the time of this writing.

Key Facts at a Glance

What Should You Do?

If you received a notice from Integrative Emergency Services or believe your information may have been involved, there are several steps you can take now. Consider placing a fraud alert or credit freeze with the three major credit bureaus — Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion — to make it harder for unauthorized parties to open accounts in your name. Review your credit reports for suspicious activity at AnnualCreditReport.com, and monitor your financial accounts closely for any unfamiliar charges or transactions. If you believe identity theft has occurred, report it and get a personalized recovery plan at IdentityTheft.gov. Because IES operates in the healthcare space as a Business Associate handling information on behalf of hospitals and health systems, you should also review any Explanation of Benefits statements you receive from your insurer and check your medical records for services you do not recognize.
