Kahn, United States District Judge for the Northern District of New York, granted final approval of a class action settlement in In re Practice Resources, LLC Data Security Breach Litigation, Case No. 6:22-cv-00890-LEK-DJS, a consolidated class action lawsuit which alleges that Practice Resources, LLC, a management service organization, was responsible for a data security breach that compromised the private information of nearly a million individuals, 

In granting final approval, Judge Kahn ruled that the settlement was fair, reasonable, and adequate pursuant to Fed. R. Civ. P. 23(e). The Court further ruled that the settlement provides significant benefits to the Settlement Class and avoids continued, protracted litigation between the Parties.
