David A. McGee is Of Counsel at the Almeida Law Group.
David’s practice focuses on consumer class actions with a particular focus on consumer class actions concerning predatory or deceptive financial products and services. David grew up in the Detroit metro area and saw firsthand how discriminatory lending practices adversely impacted the city of and residents of Detroit. David’s practice strives to level the playfield for everyday consumers beholden to large institutions.
Prior to joining Almeida Law Group, David was an associate attorney at Tycko & Zavareei LLP, where he litigated on behalf of consumers in complex litigation. While there, David secured class certification on behalf of a group of students in a case concerning college ranking fraud, helped settle a defamation case, and litigated numerous false advertising actions concerning television display representations.
While in law school, David served as the Editor in Chief of the Journal of Gender, Social Policy, & the Law. Further, while in law school, David worked for the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau in their enforcement division.
When not practicing law, you can find David on the tennis court, cooking, or spending time with his wife and pets.
