The U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Missouri has granted preliminary approval of a $3.25 million class action settlement in In re: CHROME HOLDING CO. (f/k/a 23ANDME HOLDING CO.), Case No. 25-40976-357.

We’re pleased to share that the Honorable Brian C. Walsh of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Missouri has granted preliminary approval of a $3.25 million class action settlement as part of the jointly administered bankruptcy proceedings in In re: CHROME HOLDING CO. (f/k/a 23ANDME HOLDING CO.), Case No. 25-40976-357.

The litigation involves allegations that Lemonaid Health and LMND Medical Group embedded tracking technologies—commonly referred to as “pixels”—on their website, disclosing sensitive health-related information to third parties such as Facebook and Google without user consent. The preliminarily certified settlement class includes individuals who visited www.lemonaidhealth.com between June 30, 2019 and July 14, 2025.

The Court also approved the form and manner of notice, the claim form, opt-out procedures and the Pixel Class Benefits Plan. Class members will be able to submit claims online or by mail and those who did not file individual proofs of claim in the bankruptcy may opt out of the settlement.

Matthew Langley of Almeida Law Group and Migliaccio & Rathod LLP have been appointed as Class Counsel and are proud to represent Plaintiffs and the class in this matter. The Final Approval Hearing is scheduled for January 20, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. CT.
