On November 10, 2025, in J.A., T.A., and N.C. v. NorthBay Healthcare Corporation, Case No. FCS059353, Judge Getty of the Superior Court of California, Solano County granted preliminary approval of a class action settlement resolving claims that NorthBay disclosed patients’ personal and health information through website tracking technologies.
In granting preliminary approval, Almeida Law Group LLC, LippSmith LLP and Peiffer Wolf Carr Kane Conway & Wise LLP were appointed Class Counsel. Judge Getty granted class certification for settlement purposes of the following class: all individuals residing in California whose personal information or health information was or may have been disclosed to a third party without authorization or consent through any tracking tools on NorthBay’s websites or patient portal between November 29, 2020 and May 14, 2024.
