Legal Intern
Legal Intern – Class Action, Privacy & Consumer Protection Litigation (Remote)
Position Type: Legal internship, part-time (10-15 hours per week) during the academic year or full-time over the summer
Location: Fully remote (U.S.-based applicants only)
Eligibility: Currently enrolled law students who have completed at least one year of law school before the internship begins
Compensation: Paid or academic credit depending on school requirements. For paid internships, rate set by term and scope of work. Note: we cannot guarantee that academic credit will be available at your school, but we will support your application for academic credit and will transition to a paid internship in the event that your request for academic credit is denied.
Terms Available: Summer, fall and spring, with flexible start and end dates

What You’ll Do
Legal interns work directly with our attorneys on active litigation and pre-suit investigations. Assignments vary by matter and by term, and typically include:
- Drafting legal memoranda, complaints, motions and discovery requests and responses in federal and state court
- Researching emerging issues in consumer protection, data privacy and class action procedure
- Supporting discovery needs, including document review, privilege review and deposition preparation
- Assisting with damages analysis and class certification strategy
- Attending team strategy sessions and, where appropriate, client communications
You will be exposed to matters involving deceptive practices, false advertising, unauthorized data tracking, data breaches and junk fees, frequently against Fortune 500 defendants.
Who You Are
We are looking for highly motivated law students who are intellectually rigorous and serious about plaintiff-side advocacy. Strong candidates have:
- Completed at least one year of law school before the internship start date
- Strong legal writing and research skills
- Demonstrated interest in consumer protection, privacy law, class actions or complex litigation
- Comfort with remote collaboration tools, including Microsoft Teams, SharePoint and Zoom
- A proactive mindset, attention to detail and the ability to carry an assignment to completion with limited supervision
