The company builds specialty insurance products using AI, data analytics, and predictive modeling, serving industries that include construction, hospitality, transportation, entertainment, and healthcare. What Happened?
ISC was listed in a Texas Attorney General data security breach report (record BR-0005287) filed on August 28th, 2026. According to that filing, unauthorized access occurred between June 8th, 2026 and June 11th, 2026 and was discovered on August 5th, 2026. The breach affected 12,844 individuals in total. The information exposed included names, addresses, driver’s license numbers, financial information such as account numbers and credit or debit card numbers, and dates of birth. ISC notified affected consumers by U.S. Mail.
This is the second data breach ISC has reported in approximately 18 months. A prior breach involved unauthorized access between February 16th, 2025 and February 19th, 2025, and affected more than 90,000 individuals. That earlier incident compromised a broader set of data, including Social Security numbers, tax ID numbers, biometric data, and medical information, and was reported to multiple state attorneys general in early July 2025. Multiple law firms launched class action investigations following that February 2025 breach, including Levi & Korsinsky LLP, The Lyon Firm, Strauss Borrelli PLLC, Srourian Law Firm, Shamis & Gentile P.A., and Arnold Law Firm. As of August 28th, 2026, no class action filings or investigations specific to the June 2026 breach had been identified, and no specific threat actor or ransomware group has been attributed to the current incident.

What Should You Do?
If you received a notice from ISC about this breach, review it carefully for any identity protection enrollment offer and note any enrollment deadline. Even without an offer, you should consider placing a fraud alert or a free credit freeze with each of the three major credit bureaus — Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion — to help prevent someone from opening new accounts in your name. Monitor your existing financial accounts closely for unauthorized transactions and review your credit reports regularly through AnnualCreditReport.com. If you suspect your information has been misused, visit IdentityTheft.gov for step-by-step guidance on reporting and recovering from identity theft.
