On October 20, 2026, the Honorable Krissa M. Lanham of the United States District Court for the District of Arizona granted final approval of a $3.03 million class action settlement in Strong v. LifeStance Health Group Inc., Case No. CV-23-00682-KML. The settlement resolves claims alleging that LifeStance used website tracking technologies to collect and disclose patients’ confidential health information to third parties.
The settlement covers LifeStance patients whose information was allegedly collected or disclosed through tracking technologies between March 1, 2020, and April 30, 2023. The settlement includes two subclasses: patients who booked at least one session through LifeStance’s online appointment tool and other patients who accessed LifeStance’s services during the relevant period.
David S. Almeida and Britany A. Kabakov Wessan of Almeida Law Group LLC, along with Hart L. Robinovitch and Ryan J. Ellersick of Zimmerman Reed LLP, were appointed as Class Counsel. In granting final approval, the Court approved the settlement and dismissed the action with prejudice.
