What Happened?
Adams Warehouse & Delivery, Inc. was listed as a victim in a ransomware leak-site allegation reported by Ransomware.live on October 16th, 2026. The Aurora ransomware group claimed responsibility and alleged that it exfiltrated complete server backup mirrors from multiple drives, capturing what it described as the company’s entire digital footprint. No independent corroborating source, regulatory filing, consumer notification, or public statement from the company was found to confirm this claim.
According to the attacker’s unverified post, the allegedly stolen data includes: Sage/Peachtree accounting records for eight entities spanning FY2007 through FY2025 and beyond, including payroll, W-2 filing histories, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger data; between 52 and 72 Social Security Numbers paired with full identity packages (name, date of birth, address, phone, emergency contacts, and health insurance IDs) across four entities; domain administrator passwords stored in RDP files, plaintext VPN credentials, Wi-Fi passwords, and database connections with blank passwords; proprietary source code for the company’s custom warehouse distribution management system; more than 20 years of customer data including rate cards and contact lists for over 100 customers; bookkeeping records for South Main Medical Clinic — stored within the company’s Sage system — including a physician’s Social Security Number; and 11 Outlook PST email archives. All of these are attacker-side claims only and have not been confirmed by the organization or any independent source.
Aurora is an active ransomware group tracked since approximately April 2026. Security researchers at Gambit Security documented Aurora operators using AI tools for post-compromise exploitation against at least 10 victim organizations between April and May 2026, and deploying a Linux ransomware variant targeting VMware ESXi environments. SC World has also reported on the group’s activity. Aurora’s documented operational history lends some plausibility to its general capabilities, but does not confirm this specific allegation against Adams Warehouse & Delivery, Inc.

What Should You Do?
If you believe your information may have been involved, you should take precautionary steps now. Place a fraud alert or credit freeze with the three major credit bureaus — Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion — to help prevent unauthorized accounts from being opened in your name. Review your credit reports for free at AnnualCreditReport.com and watch closely for unfamiliar accounts, inquiries, or charges. Monitor your financial accounts and any online accounts for suspicious activity. Because the attacker’s claim includes Social Security Numbers and health insurance identifiers, you should also review any Explanation of Benefits statements from your insurer and check your medical records for services you did not receive. If you discover signs of fraud or identity theft, report them at IdentityTheft.gov, which provides step-by-step recovery guidance.
