AngMar Management Services (AMS), formerly known as AngMar Medical Holdings, Inc., is a privately held, family-owned healthcare management company founded in 2000 and headquartered in Mansfield, Texas. AMS provides back-end administrative services for those locations, including document management, centralized billing audits, and corporate training. What Happened?
AngMar Management Services was listed in a Texas Attorney General data security breach report (record BR-0005363) filed on September 25th, 2026. According to the filing, an unauthorized party accessed or acquired personal information during a breach window spanning June 25th, 2026 through July 20th, 2026. The breach was discovered on September 10th, 2026, nearly two months after the breach window closed. A total of 110,256 individuals were affected. The compromised information included names, addresses, Social Security numbers, dates of birth, medical information, and health insurance information. Consumers were notified by U.S. Mail.

According to a press release issued by Edelson Lechtzin LLP on September 24th, 2026, AngMar first detected suspicious activity on July 20th, 2026, and determined that an unauthorized party may have accessed information around July 18th, 2026. Outside forensic investigators were hired and completed their review on September 10th, 2026. The press release also states that an employee accidentally emailed documents to an unauthorized actor, which appears to be the mechanism behind the confirmed breach. Separately, on August 11th, 2026, the ransomware group Interlock claimed responsibility for a cyberattack on AngMar through the dark web site Ransomware.live, alleging it exfiltrated 710 GB of data including patient medical records. AngMar has not publicly confirmed that claim, and it is unclear whether the Interlock allegation and the confirmed Texas AG filing describe the same incident or two separate events. As of the research date, no class action complaint had been filed, though both Edelson Lechtzin LLP and attorneys working with ClassAction.org have announced investigations into potential class action claims.
