As of this writing, Argentem Creek Partners (investment firm) has not issued a public confirmation of the incident, and the exact scope of any exposed data remains unknown. About Argentem Creek Partners (investment firm)

Argentem Creek Partners is an emerging markets specialist investment firm founded in 2015 by Daniel Chapman. It is an SEC-registered investment adviser focused on special situations, private credit, high yield, trade finance, and structured capital solutions, with a concentration in Latin America, Emerging Asia, and Eastern Europe. The firm is 100% employee-owned and employs approximately 10–50 people, with its primary office in New York, NY, and regional offices in Abu Dhabi, Buenos Aires, and London.

What Happened?

Argentem Creek Partners was listed in a ransomware leak-site allegation reported by Ransomware.live on September 18th, 2026. The claim is attributed to a group calling itself N0n, which posted the listing on a dark web leak site. According to the attacker’s claims, the alleged compromise involves more than 2.5 million connection records, an internal systems map reportedly covering Active Directory, SharePoint, MSP tooling, and office-security integrations, as well as tax-season document workflows and the firm’s investor document delivery platform. The listing carried a stated payment deadline of September 21st, 2026 at 03:01 UTC and claimed that corporate connectivity remained severed pending settlement. These are attacker-side allegations only and have not been confirmed by Argentem Creek Partners, any regulator, or any independent cybersecurity source.

N0n appears to be a newly emerging ransomware group. As of September 18th, 2026, RansomLook data shows the group had posted only nine total claims, including several posted on the same date targeting other organizations such as AstraZeneca Türkiye and the United Federation of Teachers — a pattern consistent with initial burst activity by new or rebranded groups. Ransomware.live itself flagged N0n as an emerging group and stated that its claims should be treated with caution until independently verified. RedPacket Security reported the same listing and noted that no separate compromise date was provided and that no confirmed encryption impact was identified. No independent corroborating sources have confirmed any compromise of Argentem Creek Partners. No class action or litigation connected to this ransomware claim has been identified.
