About CGP&H, LLC
CGP&H — short for Community, Grants, Planning and Housing — is a full-service affordable housing consulting and administration company founded in 1993 and based in Cranbury, New Jersey. The company works with municipalities, counties, developers, and nonprofits on affordable housing compliance, grant writing and administration, housing rehabilitation, and home improvement programs, and serves as an administrative agent for thousands of affordable homes across New Jersey and parts of Pennsylvania. Because CGP&H works directly with housing applicants and program participants, it collects and maintains detailed personal and financial records on the individuals it serves.
What Happened?
CGP&H, LLC was listed in a Maine Attorney General data breach filing dated June 1, 2026. The incident was classified as an external system breach (hacking). The total number of persons affected was not disclosed in the filing. Consumer notification began on June 1, 2026. CGP&H is offering twelve months of credit monitoring and identity theft protection through CyberScout, a TransUnion company, at no cost to affected individuals.

What Should You Do?
If you received a notice from CGP&H, enroll in the free CyberScout credit monitoring offer as soon as possible, keeping in mind any enrollment deadline stated in your notice. Beyond that service, consider placing a fraud alert or credit freeze with the three major credit bureaus — Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion — to make it harder for anyone to open new accounts in your name. Review your bank and financial account statements carefully for any unauthorized activity, and request your free credit reports at AnnualCreditReport.com to check for accounts or inquiries you do not recognize. If you believe your information has already been misused, visit IdentityTheft.gov to report it and get a personalized recovery plan.
