About DISK PRECISION GROUP – diskprecision.com
Disk Precision Group, legally known as Disk Precision Industries Pte Ltd, is a precision engineering company established in 1986 and headquartered in Singapore, with manufacturing operations also in Johor, Malaysia. The company specializes in CNC turning and milling, producing high-precision metal components for industries such as oil and gas, automotive, aerospace, semiconductor, and medical manufacturing. It operates as a private company with an estimated 51 to 200 employees and includes related entities Spacetech Industrial Pte Ltd and Niteac Engineering. Although the Ransomware.live filing lists the United States as the country, independent company records confirm the organization’s headquarters are in Singapore.
What Happened?
Disk Precision Group was listed in a ransomware leak-site allegation reported by Ransomware.live. On October 1st, 2026, the Krybit ransomware group posted a claim on its Tor-based leak site naming Disk Precision Group (diskprecision.com) as a victim. This is an attacker-side allegation only. No public confirmation from Disk Precision Group, any regulatory body, or independent news source has been found. No breach notification date, consumer notice, or official incident disclosure has been identified. The specific types of data allegedly involved and the number of potentially affected individuals were not specified in the claim.
Krybit is a financially motivated Ransomware-as-a-Service group that emerged in March 2026 and employs a double-extortion strategy, meaning it both encrypts victims’ files and claims to exfiltrate data before demanding payment. Its malware has been identified as a Babuk derivative. Notably, Krybit has been specifically accused by rival group 0APT of fabricating some victim claims, which adds an additional layer of uncertainty to this allegation. This is also not the first dark-web ransomware claim involving Disk Precision Group: in May 2026, a separate group called LeakBazaar posted an attacker-side allegation against the same company on Ransomware.live, claiming an attack date of approximately April 25th, 2026, and alleging exfiltration of roughly 80 GB of data across ten categories. That earlier claim was likewise never publicly confirmed by Disk Precision Group, and LeakBazaar listings have been flagged by security researchers as potentially including unverified or fabricated claims. No litigation, class actions, or regulatory actions related to either incident have been identified.
