About JM Bozeman Enterprises
JM Bozeman Enterprises is a family-owned, asset-based full truckload (FTL) freight carrier headquartered in Malvern, Arkansas. Founded in 1992–1993 by owner and CEO James Bozeman, the company operates dry van, flatbed, and reefer services across 48 states, with port operations and a crossdock warehouse in Houston, Texas. It employs approximately 201–500 people, including nearly 300 drivers. Because the breached data includes medical and health insurance information alongside employee identification and financial records, the incident likely involves employee HR and benefits records.
What Happened?
JM Bozeman Enterprises was listed in a Texas Attorney General data security breach report (record BR-0005405), published on October 12th, 2026. The company reported that the breach was discovered on July 6th, 2026, and that it affected 3,211 individuals in total. The compromised data included names, Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, government-issued ID numbers, financial account information, medical information, and health insurance information. Consumers were notified by U.S. Mail.
Separately, threat intelligence trackers DeXpose and Ransomware.live reported that the ransomware group Secpo claimed responsibility for a cyberattack on JM Bozeman Enterprises, with that claim first observed on April 14th, 2026. Secpo alleged access to more than 100,000 unique files containing information on more than 4,000 individuals and over 4,500 organizations. These are unverified attacker-side claims, not company-confirmed disclosures. Secpo is a relatively new, data-exfiltration-focused extortion group first tracked on April 14th, 2026, with only five total claimed victims. Notably, Secpo’s claimed attack date predates the company’s stated discovery date by nearly three months, which may reflect a delayed detection of the intrusion. No independent source beyond the leak-site trackers has confirmed the Secpo claim. No prior breaches or class action litigation connected to this incident were found as of October 2026.
