What Happened?
Networking Technology, Inc. was listed in a California Attorney General sample breach notice filed on June 15th, 2026. According to the notice and supplemental reporting, an unauthorized actor gained access to RXNT’s systems between March 1st, 2026 and March 3rd, 2026. RXNT detected the suspicious activity on March 3rd, 2026, completed its data review by April 17th, 2026, and began notifying affected customers on May 1st, 2026, with individual consumer notifications mailed beginning May 28th–29th, 2026. The exposed data may include names, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, demographic information such as addresses and contact details, patient IDs, physician names, and prescription and pharmacy information. The notice confirms that no payment card, bank account, or other financial information was involved. More than 70,000 patients across multiple states are reported to have been affected. RXNT notified law enforcement and arranged complimentary identity protection through Epiq Privacy Solutions.
One of RXNT’s affected clients was the Office of the Attending Physician, which provides primary care to members of the U.S. Congress, Supreme Court justices, and Capitol staff, meaning some members of Congress had prescription information exposed. One law firm investigating the incident, Ahdoot & Wolfson, PC, characterized it as an alleged ransomware attack; however, RXNT’s own communications did not use that term and no ransomware group has publicly claimed responsibility. As of June 17th, 2026, multiple law firms—including Ahdoot & Wolfson PC, Shamis & Gentile P.A., Cole & Van Note, and Dapeer Law P.A.—are investigating potential class action claims, though no complaint appears to have been filed yet.

Because prescription and pharmacy information was among the data types exposed, review any Explanation of Benefits statements from your insurer and check your medical records for services you did not receive.
