About Ruby Seven Studios
Ruby Seven Studios is a social casino gaming company that develops free-to-play casino gaming apps for web, mobile, and social media platforms. Founded in 2012 and acquired by Delaware North in 2016, the company is headquartered in Reno, Nevada, with additional operations in Kochi, India, and approximately 150–170 employees worldwide. It publishes slots, video poker, table games, bingo, keno, and other casino-themed games, and partners with major land-based casinos and content providers including IGT, Konami, Pechanga Resort & Casino, Mystic Lake Casino Hotel, and Choctaw Casinos & Resorts.
What Happened?
Ruby Seven Studios was named in a ransomware leak-site allegation reported by Ransomware.live on August 27th, 2026. The claim was attributed to INC Ransom (incransom), a ransomware-as-a-service group that emerged in mid-2023 and employs double-extortion tactics, meaning it both encrypts victims’ systems and threatens to publish stolen data. According to the attacker’s post, approximately 114 GB of data across 133,851 files was allegedly exfiltrated. The alleged data categories listed in the claim include source code, game assets, game rules and math documentation, game design documents, analytics reports, financial documents, royalty reports, tax invoices, employee intellectual property and confidentiality agreements, personal ID and passport records, and a shareholders list. The post named several Ruby Seven Studios partners—including IGT, Konami Gaming, Bally’s Corporation, Delaware North Gaming, Pechanga Resort & Casino, Mystic Lake Casino Hotel, and Choctaw Casinos & Resorts—and stated that “full publication coming soon.”
The claim was independently documented by RedPacket Security, which noted the INC Ransom dark-web post but did not download or verify any alleged exfiltrated data. No confirmation of this incident from Ruby Seven Studios, its parent company Delaware North, or any regulatory body has been found. All attacker-side statements should be treated as unverified allegations only. INC Ransom has claimed more than 800 victims since its emergence in 2023 and is considered one of the most active ransomware operations globally as of 2026. No prior data breaches involving Ruby Seven Studios were identified in public sources, and no litigation or class actions connected to this incident have been filed as of August 27th, 2026.
