What Happened?
UBEO Midco LLC was listed in a Texas Attorney General data security breach report published on June 18th, 2026. According to that filing, an unauthorized party accessed systems containing sensitive personal information during a window spanning June 26th, 2025 through July 27th, 2025. The breach was not discovered until May 13th, 2026 — nearly ten months after it began. A total of 3,845 individuals were affected. The compromised data includes names, addresses, Social Security numbers, medical information, and health insurance information. Consumers were notified by U.S. Mail.
UBEO also reported the breach to the Massachusetts Attorney General on June 12th, 2026. The roughly ten-month gap between the start of the breach and its discovery is notable. No ransomware group or specific threat actor has been publicly tied to the incident. At least two law firms — Shamis & Gentile P.A. and Strauss Borrelli PLLC — have announced investigations into the breach, though no class action lawsuit had been filed as of mid-June 2026.

What Should You Do?
If you received a notice from UBEO Midco LLC, act promptly to protect yourself. Place a fraud alert or credit freeze with the three major credit bureaus — Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion — to make it harder for anyone to open new accounts in your name. Review your credit reports for unfamiliar accounts or inquiries at AnnualCreditReport.com. Because medical information and health insurance information were among the data types exposed, also review your Explanation of Benefits statements and medical records for any services you did not receive or authorize. Monitor your financial accounts regularly for suspicious activity, and report any signs of identity theft at IdentityTheft.gov.
