About Women’s Center for Radiology
Women’s Center for Radiology is a private medical imaging practice in Orlando, Florida, specializing in women’s health. The practice offers services including 3D mammography, breast ultrasound, MRI, bone density scanning, breast biopsies, and consultations, and has served Central Florida for over 36 years across two imaging center locations. In January 2026, Women’s Center for Radiology was acquired by Solis Mammography, a national breast health services provider headquartered in Addison, Texas. Because the practice provides diagnostic imaging and medical consultations, it maintains detailed health and personal information for its patients.
What Happened?
Women’s Center for Radiology was listed in an HHS Office for Civil Rights breach portal report submitted on June 26th, 2026, identifying a hacking/IT incident affecting a network server. According to the breach notice, on April 29th, 2026, Women’s Center for Radiology detected suspicious activity on its computer network. A forensic investigation conducted with third-party cybersecurity specialists determined that between April 26th, 2026, and April 28th, 2026, an unauthorized third party gained access to a limited portion of the network and accessed or downloaded files. A total of 66,422 individuals were affected. The compromised data may include, depending on the individual: names, addresses, dates of birth, contact information, diagnoses and conditions, lab results, treating and referring physicians, medical record numbers, health insurance information, and driver’s license numbers. Women’s Center for Radiology is offering complimentary credit monitoring and identity theft protection services and has established a dedicated phone line at 844-507-8933 for affected individuals.
The breach occurred just months after Women’s Center for Radiology was acquired by Solis Mammography in January 2026. Solis stated that the IT disruption affected only legacy systems used by Women’s Center for Radiology and did not impact Solis’s broader infrastructure. Disclosures were filed with the attorneys general offices of Massachusetts and Nebraska, indicating that affected individuals reside in multiple states. No ransomware group has been publicly named or claimed responsibility for this incident. As of early July 2026, multiple law firms—including Cole & Van Note and Shamis & Gentile P.A.—are investigating potential class action lawsuits on behalf of affected individuals, though no class action complaint has been filed as of the research date.
